I’m so excited to reveal our new California casual guest bedroom! Our guest room is the last room in the house to get fully furnished. If you’ve been following along, you’ve seen my full home tour here, and the IDCO office tour here. It’s funny how the room I’ve been putting off for 9 months is suddenly my favorite room in the house. I knew I wanted the room to feel more masculine than it was. I also knew I wanted to continue the California casual vibe as the rest of the house. Due to the placement of the guest bedroom door, you actually see directly into the bedroom and the family room as you walk upstairs. When redesigning the room, I wanted them to flow visually.
I’m so pleased with the final result, and grateful to East at Main for partnering on this project! Their new line of globally inspired furniture launches next month. They were kind enough to send over these dreamy side tables and I really think they made the room!

It really was such a transformation, for such a reasonable number! Can’t wait for you to come stay next month!
Saw this on Pinterest today and I honestly thought it was Amber Interiors. YOU KILLED IT! I need to come visit asap.
Literally, the very best possible compliment that every existed. YES – PLEASE COME! PS – I’ll be home in Marin August 14-28th 💕
This is AMAZING!!! I love how much of a difference adding in pillows and a painting makes. Completely changes the room & adds height.

You’re so kind Sarah! I totally agree – I think the curtains made the biggest difference in person… suddenly our 10 foot ceilings feel like 10 feet! Thanks so much for stopping by to read
