We always love sharing the latest on our project lineup, and today we’re giving you a special behind-the-scenes look at one client who entrusted IDCO with their recent rebrand: Kennedy Cole Interior Design.
Formerly THREE SALT DESIGN Co., Lindsay and Alex of KCID worked with our team on their custom website design, development and comprehensive rebrand. It was one of our most exciting projects to date, and we’re thrilled to walk you through the entire journey.

FROM INSPIRATION TO CREATIVE DIRECTION
With a style defined as authentic, curated, and intentional, it was important for us to create a brand identity reflective of the KCID core values.
“We believe in design without boundaries. It surpasses genre and centers instead around the way you move through the most sacred of your spaces. Our goal for every home is to design something that is so deeply personal that it cannot be recreated. This level of customization requires a great deal of intentionality. We have found that our most inspiring projects share a common thread: transparency. We ask our clients to give us a front row seat to their lives – how they begin each day, where they host meals for friends, and what they do to unwind in the evenings. Our ability to help our clients hone-in on what home really means to them and translate that into a curation of textiles, finishes, furnishings, and art is what allows us to create truly authentic, beautiful homes.”
A COMPREHENSIVE RE-BRAND
Not only did this project involve custom website design and development, but a top-to-bottom rebrand from THREE SALT DESIGN Co. to Kennedy Cole Interior Design. While the name change added another layer of thoughtful strategy, we were so honored Lindsay and Alex entrusted this significant undertaking to our team.
For the last three years, THREE SALT DESIGN Co. has been a beautiful home for us, marked by innovation and customer service. We proudly poured it all into every project and every trusting client, making TSD Co. a huge part of our careers and lives, and a great addition to luxury design in Huntington Beach. After a year like 2020, we felt it was time to reflect and prioritize the pillars that our company was founded on, and will continue to be our standard: authenticity and transparency. Pairing these alongside function and form, we have developed a brand that values the client relationship, one that best represents the service and skill we offer to our clients.
We are so pleased to reintroduce ourselves as Kennedy Cole Interior Design. KCID is a full-service interior design firm that is dedicated to creating authentically beautiful homes. We are thrilled for this new era of design innovation and authenticity that we’ve committed to. Along with our amazing new website, we have so much more in store for the new year. Project reveals, before & afters, favorite finds, and so much more is in the lineup, and we can’t wait to share it all.
BESPOKE BRANDING ELEMENTS
Our work with KCID involved designing a primary logo, secondary logo, alternative mark, brand icons, typography selections, and bespoke patterns, textures and color palette. While each element is beautiful enough to stand on its own, our team worked to ensure every design worked collectively to tell the larger story of their brand.
THE IDCO STUDIO EXPERIENCE
Our experience working with IDCO Studio was nothing short of amazing. Anastasia is extremely talented at what she does – her processes are very streamlined, and her team is exceptionally informed and knowledgeable about what they do.
Being a creative professional and working with another creative professional, we know how challenging it can be when clients don’t trust your process. But Anastasia was always so flexible, understanding, and worked through even the small details with us. We really leaned on her expertise in this particular field, and she did a fantastic job working with us through everything we wanted and needed.
FROM ONE DESIGNER TO ANOTHER
We would advise designers to look further into the future – focusing not just on who you are this year but thinking ahead to who you’ll be down the road. Plan using a larger scale and think about who you want to be 10+ years down the road. Write it down on paper and verbalize it out loud.
The IDCO Studio team is amazing at taking what you want and making it happen. You become inspired by all of the things they can do, so let them be creative. When we stopped requesting changes and let them take the wheel as experts, the designs came out even better than we could have imagined.
