Led by two passionate designers and busy moms, Sibbing and Gray Interiors has experienced incredible success since its founding in 2019. They’re known for high-end yet livable spaces that don’t shy away from pattern and color when the occasion calls for it. As owners Jordan Arnt and Kristen Harms outlined their studio’s long-term goals, they knew they needed a website and branding redesign to take their business to the next level. They loved some elements about their existing brand but wanted to embody a more refined level of sophistication to attract their dream clients.
Our team of expert web designers, graphic designers, and copywriters at IDCO Studio came alongside Jordan and Kristen through their branding journey over several months. We’re taking you inside the collaborative experience which led to one of our most unique brand suites to date.

IDCO Studio set out to create a branding experience that felt elevated, fresh, and approachable to attract Sibbing and Gray’s ideal client who’s looking for statement-making design. The team wanted to evoke a level of sophistication that represents experience and establishment without sacrificing personality in the least. The initial creative direction covered three key areas to help guide the project:
STYLE
We want the branding to be bold and timeless. We’ll focus on elements that are quietly layered in organic materials paired with bold color or pattern. The final design will be both sophisticated and fun.
VIBE
We want your brand to give off a polished and timeless vibe. It will pair traditional typography in a modern way incorporated with a few unexpected surprises that make your brand feel elevated, polished, and playful.
COLOR
We want your color palette to feel fresh and bright. We’ll pull inspiration from your bold artwork selections in saturated pastel hues against a neutral backdrop that feels timeless and transitional through every season.

A modern and casual sans-serif font combined with a simple line as a separator adds an elevated detail. Influenced by the organic shape of the tile, we created an icon with watercolor for an added layer of depth. To complete the brand suite, we redesigned the Sibbing and Gray icon which can work alongside the brand name or stand along as a stamped monogram.
What made this project so special was the collaborative experience we were able to have with Sibbing and Gray. The final result was a more refined extension of their existing branding that incorporated new elements, like their signature divider line, in an unexpected way. Sibbing and Gray also wanted to include that abstract element in their logo. Our IDCO Studio designers went one step further to create an alternative watercolor version of their icon for a simple yet stunning effect.
