Desk Essentials

After a year in business, I know my desk essentials. There is a handful of things I can’t live without on a daily basis, so I keep those desk essentials within an arms reach.

BEAUTY

I know it sounds crazy to list beauty products first – but these babies keep me moisturized and dewey all day. And when you’re working 14+ hours a day like I am, why wouldn’t you want to treat yourself to a little luxury mid-day? Herbivore Botanicals has become my go-to. Their Orchid Facial Oil is one of my top desk essentials because it smells like the loveliest perfume you’ve ever owned, but in a softer, fresher way. It’s perfect to throw on when I get an unexpected visitor at the office and need to feel like a whole human.

The summer heat keeps the AC blasting, which dries out my skin. The rose beauty mist from Herbivore is a fave, but I love the Love + Roses version, too.

Lastly, I keep two kinds of lip balm on me at all times. Herbivore (yes, there is a theme) and Glossier’s balm dotcom. The lip conditioner from Herbivore is lightweight and glossy. Balm Dotcom is transformative.

• Lucite Monitor Stand
• Gold Mouse Pad
• White Computer Monitor (soooo much cheaper than the Mac version + hooks up directly to my Macbook Pro)
• Chargeable Bluetooth Keyboard (also syncs to my Macbook Pro)
• Nikon Coolpix B500 Camera (super cheap option that takes really bright indoor photos)
• 15 inch MacBook Pro Retina (perfect combination of power and portability, especially when plugged in to the cheap 27″ monitor)
