I’ve been known to test out my fair share of makeup products. Sometimes it involves a new blush color, and other times it’s a full-scale lash system, but whatever the case, I’m not afraid to try something new. That being said, I’ve edited down my daily makeup routine to just a few trusted products I can count on every time. Products I know are worth the investment and live up to all the hype.
My daily routine isn’t overly complicated by any stretch. It really comes down to a handful of favorites I can reach for without hesitation. It starts with a face serum for a healthy glow, a medium-coverage foundation, my better-than-mascara lash obsession, and a few finishing touches that have become my everyday makeup essentials. Curious about the details? I’m walking you through the seven products I swear by, step by step.

Ok, this one technically falls into the skincare category, but I consider it a part of my getting ready process. I’ve been using this vitamin C and turmeric face oil for years, and nothing else has ever left my skin so glowy. A drop or two goes a long way, and I swear it makes my makeup look better, too.
Shade: 5N Neutral (summer) + 4W warm (winter)
Finding the right foundation is kind of like dating. It usually takes a few duds before you finally meet the one. Luckily, I found Dior’s Forever Skin Glow Foundation pretty early on and never looked back. This one is a medium-to-full coverage and I never have to worry about reapplying throughout the day.
Shade: 365 New World
For me, blush is often a less-is-more situation. I want a kiss of color, but I also like things to look as natural as possible. Dior’s rouge blush is really nice for buildable color, so I can also go a little bolder whenever the occasion calls for it.
Here’s the deal: I had tried approximately one zillion mascaras before stumbling upon Lashify. I’d seen it endorsed by all the major beauty outlets and finally decided to see what the fuss was about. Y’all, I cannot tell you how big of a difference it made, and I’ve been hooked ever since. I apply them using a glue mascara just once a week, and they last me a full seven days. They leave my lashes looking pretty and feminine, and I’m wholeheartedly obsessed.
If I absolutely had to play favorites with my products, it would probably be this sculpting stick. I’ve tried all the dupes on the market (more expensive products included), but this one wins every time. I especially love how it leans cool, so it truly looks like a shadow, not a bad tan. It’s got a nice matte finish and blends like a dream.
Shade: Golden Pearl
You know that perfect glow you get after a great facial? This is that glow in highlighter form. It’s soft and shimmery (read: not glittery) and makes me feel effortlessly put together.
A good long-wearing brow pencil is hard to come by. Especially one that’s smudge-proof, waterproof, and doesn’t cost a fortune. The finished look is super natural and stays put throughout the day.
