Here at ICDO Studio, we’re no stranger to a good neutral. Whether it looks like shades of fresh white, layers of warm beige, or entire spaces in that perfect tone of mushroom, neutral interiors will forever have our hearts. But that doesn’t mean we can’t love a pop of color when the occasion calls for it. This fall, muddy jewel tones have been taking over our Pinterest boards, with terracottas, sage greens, and muted mustards all leading the way.
To kick off the autumn season, we’ve rounded up some incredible design moments that caught our eye in the best fall colors for your home. Scroll on for a glimpse at our favorites, including curated pieces to shop the look for yourself!

Green has been topping the design trend charts over the past several years, and we particularly love this muted sage variation. Whether it’s for kitchen cabinets, bathroom vanities, or entire walls, sage is a color shade we can always get behind.

Call it rosewood, coral beige, or terracotta—this color tone is one to watch. It’s popping up in nearly every major designer’s portfolio, and we might be so bold as to say it’s becoming the NEW neutral.

Purple has gotten a major upgrade thanks to designers who aren’t afraid to use this color in fresh and unexpected ways. In fact, these mauve-inspired spaces made us “team dusty purple” all the way.

Nothing says fall like a pop of mustard yellow, and these spaces are showing us how it’s done. Here’s our philosophy: when used sparingly, a muted mustard adds just enough warmth without going overboard.

We love bright interiors as much as the next person, but there’s something about a dark and moody space that feels so perfect for fall. Pair it with wood tones plus leather accents, and you’ve got a beautiful space in the making.
So tell us friends, which colors tones are you trying out for fall? Tag us with #IDCOatHome and you just might appear in our next monthly feature, right here on the blog.
