Favorites for the Month of October

Over the past month, our IDCO Slack channel has been abuzz with office updates, exciting milestone announcements, and new additions to the team. But, we’d be remiss if we didn’t also share the personal recommendations our team swaps day-to-day. Tucked inside this edition of our IDCO favorites posts, you’ll find pieces for your home and wardrobe, along with plenty of reading + streaming material to keep you busy in the chilly months ahead. Without further ado, these are a few of our favorite things.

Half Baked Harvest X Etsy collection

One of our favorite food bloggers, Tieghan Gerard just launched a new holiday baking collection with Etsy, and no surprise, we’re huge fans. The best part?  Every product is handmade by small makers that you can feel great about supporting this holiday season.

Polished Brass Bathroom Shelves

Say hello to my favorite new bathroom shelves that everyone is asking about. They’re pretty, affordable, and I’m convinced they’d look good in just about any space.

France&Sons Holmes Bookshelf

We’re in the midst of an IDCO office revamp, and this bookshelf from France&Son is one of our favorite purchases to date. We’ve shared a few peeks on IG Stories, but we can’t wait to show you the final styling reveal.

Washed Leather Jacket

Every fall wardrobe needs a great leather jacket, and this one checks all the boxes. I just purchased this Madewell jacket in the ‘dark forest’ color, and it’s my new go-to. No doubt, it’s an investment piece, but the quality is 100% worth it.

Helene Tunic Dress

I wore this dress in a recent styling blog post, and I’ve had tons of source questions ever since. The floral pattern is fun without being too fussy, and I plan on getting tons of wear from it this season and beyond.

Tenoverten Nail Polish

Steph from our editorial team named this nail polish collection the perfect color tones for fall. She’s loving the ‘Hester’ and ‘Mulberry’ shades, but there are so many color options no matter your style.

The Community Fridge

The amazing people over at Zero Waste Bulk offer free veggies, fruit and dry goods for those in need within a zero-waste grocery store focused on sustainable, local and organic. They’d deemed this concept “The Community Fridge” and we love everything about it.

Emily in Paris

We could all use some lighthearted escapism right about now, and this show is just the ticket. It follows a marketing exec who lands her dream job in Paris, with plenty of drama, romance and incredible Parisian scenery.

My Own Words by Ruth Badar Ginsberg

In memory of one of America’s most prolific champions of equal justice under law, this memoir is an absolute must-read.

Something in the Water

This fast-paced thriller had us hooked from page one. It’s such a fun read for the spooky October season, and it’s also received the official Reese Witherspoon Book Club stamp of approval.

Father of the Bride Part Three-ish

This 25-minute Father of the Bride cast reunion was the most delightful pick-me-up we didn’t know we needed. For anyone curious, check out this article recapping how it came to be.
