If we’ve learned anything about how to make a hashtag happen, it’s the importance of engagement. Sure, a few practical steps help a hashtag take off, but when all is said and done, fostering conversation is what it’s really about. With more than 150k posts in the #IDCOatHome feed, it’s no small feat to practice what we preach, but it’s also one of the highlights of our workday.
Per usual, we’re dedicating this post to the ten images that caught our eye this month in the feed. We hope you’ll walk away feeling so inspired, and don’t forget to tag your Instagram posts with #IDCOatHome for a chance to be featured.

Drawing on her British roots, Kate Abt knows how to bring a classic sensibility to any space. This Maryland-based designer recently unveiled images from her #nottinghillproject, and the waterfall edge stopped us in our tracks. Full disclosure: we could not edit ourselves to just one image, so we included two angles to see this kitchen in all its glory.

Everything about this moody seating nook feels like fall. Most notably? The plush velvet Belmont Accent Chair from Ginny’s furniture collection with Lulu & Georgia. Just add a great book, and we could spend hours reading to our heart’s content.

When design layouts give you lemons, make lemonade. Or, in this case, just add a kick-A wine fridge. Cabana Rehab Interiors is showing us how it’s done with fluted stained wood cabinetry that makes the whole scene feel extra special.

It’s official: Sabrina Albanese has delivered the color palette of our dreams. From the warm + layered neutrals to the richly-toned plaid pillows, it feels right so appropriate for the season.

Our key takeaway from this kitchen by Kelsey Leigh Design Co? Sometimes the best things happen when you don’t play it safe. Offset with brass hardware, this moody cabinetry color is a thing of beauty.

We believe first impressions are everything. So much so that we wrote an entire post dedicated to The Anatomy of an Entryway. Luckily, the FLEURISH team feels the same and designed a serene, neutral entrance with the perfect spindle bench.

There are a million and one things to love about this kitchen designed by Jaclyn Peters, but our low-key MVP? Those herringbone wood floors. Paired with cozy banquette seating and the perfect pendant light, you’ve got the modern breakfast nook of our dreams.
Interior Design: @jennpablostudio
Everyone deserves a home that feels like an escape of sorts—a space that feels like a warm and welcome refuge from the world. Jenn Pablo is tapping into that very notion with this living room we’d all love to relax in at the end of a long day.
Interior Design: @wendymaurodesign | Photography: @margaret.wright
When Charleston-based designer Wendy Mauro shared this kitchen, it immediately went into our favorites file. It’s an example of “classic with a twist,” and we particularly love the brass hood detailing.

Good design is always in the details. Exhibit A: this dining close-up from Lauren of Well by Design. It features the Serena & Lily Cascais Chandelier, which adds a textural statement with four tiers.
