Out of all the content series we share here on the blog, our Monthly Favorites might top the list. It’s a chance for our team to swap recommendations as we compile a one-stop-shop of the things we’re currently loving. And better yet? We tend to include favorite picks in a wide range of categories spanning across the board. Whether you’re hoping to refresh your home with a few new pieces or just looking for the next binge-worthy series on Netflix, rest assured you’re in the right place. Our February favorites include all of the above, plus then some.

Amy Lauren Studio’s ‘Holding On’ Print
One of our all favorite artists just released her latest print, and Anastasia promptly made sure to snag one. The print is titled ‘Holding On’ and is a reflection on issues of racism in America. In Amy’s words, “I want to offer a reminder in the form of art of how far we still have to go as we continue to move forward towards change.” UPDATE: It looks like this print just sold out, but there’s so many beautiful pieces to shop, like this DeJa-Vu print we love.
Anastasia has been playing an ongoing game of musical chairs as she searches for comfy, lounge-worthy (non-frumpy) armchairs. This month, she tried swapping in these gorgeous swivel chairs from the IDCO office to help change up her living room vibe. While they might not stay put for long, we love the current look.
Our IDCO copywriter, Carmen, has spent this month swooning over all things East Fork Pottery. She’s ready to upgrade her IKEA dishware for these ceramic beauties that just so happen to be fully durable and dishwasher safe.
The Laundress Laundry Detergent
Sunday chores just got infinitely more fun thanks to products from The Laundress. Several of our team members use their detergents, and we’re in agreement that they’re the absolute best for sheets and delicates.
Ninja Foodie Pressure Cooker and Air Fryer
Our team member, Leigh, received this 10-in-1 pressure cooker for Christmas and after several months of use, she’s giving it rave reviews. She specifically loves how this all-in-one gadget helps to maximize her limited kitchen space, and she’s been putting it to work no less than three times a week.
If you’re looking to switch up your skincare routine, Carmen has you covered. She recently gave Haldi a try and has loved every last recommendation. Haldi’s skincare service (led by a team of women) starts with a thorough questionnaire and gives you a step-by-step routine for morning and night, taking into account any products you already use.
You know we love the ROSEN product line led by founder Jamika Martin, but we’re particularly obsessed with their creamy tropics moisturizer. This isn’t the first time their products have made our monthly favorites, but this moisturizer is a winter skin lifesaver!
Jennifer from our editorial team gave her stamp of approval on Hamnet by Maggie O’Farrell. This novel covers grief, family issues, love, loss, and feels very timely. She also noted that the audio version is equally excellent, which isn’t always a given.
It wouldn’t be a monthly favorites list without a few good streaming recommendations. Several of us on team IDCO have started The Dig on Netflix, and we’re 100% hooked. Get ready for all the beautiful British interiors.
A Kids Book About Systemic Racism
It is Black History Month, which means there’s never a better time to talk with your kids about issues of racism in America. This book from the “kids book about” series is a great place to start, and you can purchase it directly from Five Sun—a shop owned by women of color.
For a new series with a decidedly dark twist, The Head on HBO is the answer. It’s one part eco-science, one part murder mystery, and ALL the suspense.
Last but not least, our newest team member, Bridget, is obsessing over the Libby App to fuel her winter reading kick. This app allows you to borrow tons of popular ebooks and audiobooks for FREE—all through your local library!
