A Gift Guide for the Adventurer

In my own home, I try to subscribe pretty closely to William Morris’s rule, “have nothing in your house that you do not know to be useful or believe to be beautiful.” But I think that the sweet spot is really at the intersection of useful and beautiful, which is why I source practical items that are designed with style in mind. From an exercise weight that might get mistaken for shelf decor, to a retro-style cooler made by a trusted brand you’ll definitely recognize (sourced here at a small business local to Austin), the items on this list are the epitome of stylish and practical.

I chose these pieces for the outdoorsy, adventurous ones in your life, but if no one on your list fits that category, I’ve also curated lists for The Entertainer, The Style-Conscious, The Tech Enthusiast, and The Littles. Each guide highlights the products made by female- or BIPOC-owned businesses, or produced with sustainability in mind. How you spend time and money is important (especially this time of year) and we want to make conscious choices together.

With all of that said, let’s get shopping!
