IDCO Favorites for the Month of February

Feb 6

Blame it on Valentine’s Day or the fact that Spring is just around the bend but February favorites are bringing an infusion of blush and floral. OK, and maybe some true-crime books and shows too. This month we’re sharing our GOAT jeans, healthy sweets with only 3g of sugar, and the lipstick that ended our hunt for the perfect barely-there nude shade. Have a look at what the IDCO team is loving this month, plus snag ideas for really great Valentine’s gifts tucked inside!

for your home + kitchen

Maple Shaker Peg Racks – I recently organized my pantry with the help of Shira Gill ( see the reveal here) and this simple peg rack is one of my favorite items from our organizing overhaul.

Bronze Floor Planter – Getting ready for all the Spring things and can’t wait to plant something pretty in these bronze floor planters. On the same note, for Valentine’s Day, picking these up to give all of our friends: Dipped Flower Pots.

Olive and Linen Kitchen Towels – Of all the towels in all the land, we keep coming back to these simple, classic linen towels that do their job LIKE A BOSS.

Compostable Kitchen Trash Bags – We are always looking for simple ways to use less plastic and compostable kitchen bags made from non-GMO potatoes are one such way. They also have a smaller version here!

Smart Sweets – Finally gave in and tried smart sweets and the peach rings are for sure a winner.

for your beauty routine

Revlon One-Stop HairdryerMeet the best thing that has ever happened to our beauty routine. Honestly, the whole team can attest to the fact that this all in one blowdryer gives volume and the perfect salon-worthy blowout in half the time of regular blowdrying.

Charlotte Tilbury Lipstick – I’m just going to go ahead and declare Pillow Talk Medium the best color ever. Trick – look at the inside of your bottom lip and match that tone for the perfect nude shade. Nudes always made me washed out but this medium color is just the right amount of pigment to bring out a born this way lip color. For a slightly lighter shade, try the original Pillow Talk.

Burts Bees Glossy Lipstick – Another lipstick that we are really into this month is Burts Bees 100% Natural Lipstick. They are super moisturizing and stay put so they never look bad as time goes on. Plus, they’re the perfect amount of flush.

for your wardrobe

Paper Thin Rings – Love these delicate rings from Ariel Gordon alone or stacked all together. This Love Knot Ring is also super cute for Valentine’s Day gifting.

Edge Detail Bandana – Don’t be fooled by the classic bandana vibes, this bright coral number is giving us all the feels with its pretty fringed edge

Cali Demi-Boot Jeans – Finally found the perfect jeans if you want help slimming your tummy. They fit perfectly and I ordered two additional pairs so I can be comfy and confident in my jeans every day.

Jenni Kayne Extended Sizes – Jenni Kayne just released extended sizes on a few items and now I have no money. Here are a few pieces currently in my cart:

Cashmere Fisherman Sweater | Sweater Coat | Cotton Fisherman Sweater

currently streaming + reading

The Holdout by Graham Moore – This book had us at ” For lovers of the true-crime podcast SERIAL.” A murder trial, a jury, a controversial verdict and a podcast are all a part of this novel set to be released Feb. 18. Snag a copy with the pre-sale now.

Fair Play by Eve Rodsky – Currently on my nightstand, this one is perfect for anyone who finds themselves crazy busy with work and in need of more downtime.

Nike SB: The Dunk Book – A great gift for the guy in your life who loves basketball, shoes, or all of the above. I picked this up to give Quinn for Valentine’s Day.

Cheer – This docuseries follows a competitive cheer squad as they vie for a national title and we are hooked! Stream it on Netflix.

The Outsider – This HBO series based on a Stephen King novel is a little bit scary, a lot a bit chilling and so dang good. Think true-crime with a supernatural spin.
