Each month we cull through the #IDCOatHome feed for those standout images that stop us in our tracks. And as our feed continues to grow with beautiful content (over 100,050 posts, to be exact) the task has become anything but easy. You all have continued to bring your A-game time and time again, reminding us why we’re so thankful to be a part of this design community in the first place.
With that, we’re sharing our top ten favorites from the feed—think kitchens, living spaces, powder rooms, patios and more. Don’t forget to use #IDCOatHome for your chance to be featured each month here on the blog!

If you have yet to follow the work of Fixe Design House, today is the day, friends. Erika creates some of the most inspiring spaces in the Newport Beach area, and this kitchen is example number one. The layered wood tones add so much depth, while the finishes and fixtures mange to feel modern yet timeless all at once.

To say we adore Ginny MacDonald’s work would be a massive understatement. Each room she touches turns to gold, and this might be our favorite living space to date. If we had to pinpoint a single detail, it’s the muted mustard color tones paired with all the earthy neutrals. In fact, mustard is a color trend we’ve long had our eye on.

We might be in the dead of winter, but that doesn’t mean we can’t daydream about indoor/outdoor living. *Enter* this patio by Kelsey Leigh Design Co. that’s a lesson in layering textures. With that cozy fireplace front and center, who wouldn’t want to curl up with their morning coffee?

Is there anything more sophisticated than a marble slab backsplash? Answer: not a chance. Pair that with a honed black granite countertop featuring a subtle cream veining, and you’ve got an inspiration image to save for future reference.

Designer Dana Arazi Levine calls this space a “sexy, moody guest bath,” and we couldn’t agree more. She used ‘Salamander Green’ by Benjamin Moore to bring on the drama, and we’re adding it to our best bathroom paint colors, stat!

Let’s talk about this kitchen by Emily of Cohesively Curated. It’s proof that you don’t need a huge floor plan to make a big impact. Especially with panel ready appliances that blend seamlessly with the cabinetry.

Sometimes less is more, and this cozy vignette is a great example. The natural linen sofa plays well with the colorful Loloi rug that brings an element of vintage-inspired character.

What’s better than one kitchen from Fixe Design House? Two! When we saw this beauty in the #IDCOatHome feed, we couldn’t help but add it to the list. Blame it on that stunning wood hood that totally steals the show.

We believe there’s beauty in simplicity and even joy in the everyday moments. Just imagine doing dishes from this calming scene by Lecate Design, and we think you’ll agree.

No one call pull off a super dramatic space like West of Main. They make a moody black paint color feel entirely fresh with the addition of light abstract art and some key styling moments. Now, who’s ready to take the plunge with an all-black wall?
