If you’re anything like us, leggings and tees have seen a lot of wear over the past twelve months. It’s been a full year of social distancing, and while we’re not trading in those comfy pieces just yet, we are ready to give our closets some much-needed attention. We’re taking a minimalist approach to our spring wardrobe update with well-made items from some of our favorite brands. Think Jenni Kayne, Freda Salvador, and more. We’ve embraced the “buy nice not twice” capsule wardrobe mindset and it’s guiding our shopping decisions this season and beyond.
Ok friends, it’s time for those quarantine sweats to step aside because these spring looks are coming in hot.

You’ll find this sweater-blazer featured in the image above, and it’s quickly become the star of my closet. It’s the perfect transition piece for the changing seasons with lightweight warmth for those cool spring days.
Vintage Jean in Maplewood Wash
When you find those ‘goldilocks’ jeans, it’s only fair to tell everyone about them. This pair hugs in all the right places with a medium-tone wash that goes well with everything.
According to the cool kids (aka, Generation Z), skinny jeans are out and wide legs are in. We aren’t retiring all the skinnies quite yet, but these khaki-colored pants have definitely caught our eye.
If you only make a single purchase in your spring wardrobe update, I’d recommend this boyfriend shirt be the one. This timeless piece can be styled a million different ways. It’s also featured beneath my blazer in the image above.

Hot take: every spring wardrobe update should include a good blazer. I recently shared this outfit on the ‘gram, and you all seem to agree. The exact blazer I’m wearing quickly sold out, but this double-breasted version and the Larsen Blazer in Plaid are both nearly identical looks.
As previously mentioned, we love a good blazer, and this one tops the favorites list. Pair it with white denim, a white tee and high tops for a casual look that’s polished enough for client meetings and more.

Shirt dresses are my staple, so it’s no surprise this dress made the list. It’s a one-and-done outfit, and we love the less expected taupe pinstripe.

Esby Apparel is local to Austin, sustainably made, and the ultimate in casual luxury. I have the Alice Tunic in 5 colors and will continue to add to my collection as long as they make them.

I recently became a Freda Salvador brand ambassador, and I couldn’t be more excited to partner with this brand I’ve long admired. Freda Salvador shoes are designed in California and handmade in the company’s family factories in Spain and El Salvador. These d’orsay oxfords are featured in the opening image, and I wear them day in and day out.

Give your hat collection a spring-inspired twist with this natural straw fedora. Wear it to the office, running errands, to the farmer’s market, or anywhere in between.
We’ve got a slight obsession with collecting sunglasses, and these are some of the most flattering we’ve found to date. UV protection has never looked so good.
Let’s face it: masks are the new safety/fashion accessory of our time. We’re ready to give our face masks a spring makeover. and these gingham and stripe options definitely fit the bill.
A good baseball cap is a must for those days when you need to hide unwashed hair and look effortlessly cool all at the same time. But don’t limit a baseball cap to athleisure looks. They can work with so many outfits just like this one.
Add some texture to your ring stack with this stunning number by Jennie Kwon Designs. Her pieces feature all fair-minded gold, so it’s an everyday piece you can feel great about wearing.
Another Jenni Kayne bestseller, this leather bucket bag is as versatile as they come. Pick your favorite leather tone, and say hello to your new everyday bag.

Great lineup but not a single Madewell link is working. It just directs you to their homepage.
Thanks so much for flagging this, Melissa! There’s currently a Madewell glitch with RewardsStyle links but we’re updating that right away.
Beautiful! Might you have the source for the organic looking bowl in the left side of the closet/jewelry photo? It’s so lovely! Thank you!
Hi Nikki, Anastasia picked up that bowl on the left during her travels in Barcelona!
