Our Juniper Print Shop Office Artwork

You might have seen on Instagram Stories that IDCO Studio has officially moved office spaces. But don’t worry, we didn’t go far: same building, more square footage. As our Austin-based team grew over the past year, it quickly became clear that we needed extra room to accommodate the desks, common areas, and a dedicated meeting room. So when an option that ticked all the boxes became available earlier this year, we jumped on it.

Much like a new home, the process of moving offices allowed us to redesign a workspace that better reflects our signature style. There will be a full office tour in the weeks ahead, but in the meantime, I wanted to give you a sneak peek at the office artwork we chose with Juniper Print Shop.

Office Artwork with Juniper Print Shop

You know that daunting feeling of filling endless blank walls? We felt that intensely after moving into our new office. Suddenly we had the extra space we so desperately needed, but our existing art collection wasn’t going to cut it. As I considered both scale and balance, I knew we needed new office artwork to finish off our open-concept workspace. As luck would have it, Juniper Print Shop had just launched a new collection of oversized canvas prints with more than enough size options to meet our needs.

Juniper Print Shop has been one of my go-to sources for fine art prints for quite some time. I’ve sourced several pieces from JPS for our home, and I’m always impressed with the quality of their work. While JPS has become well known for their paper prints, I was so thrilled to order their new oversized canvas prints with size options all the way up to 55 X 79.

I’m going to walk you through the five pieces we chose for our office artwork, and the team at Juniper Print Shop was kind enough to share a special code in case you’d like to snag them for yourself. Use code ANASTASIACASEY15 to save 15% off your order now through July 31, 2022.

Our Office Artwork Picks

You know by now that I love a good neutral. And there’s something about the way the earth tones of cream, charcoal, rust, and olive work together in this duo that really struck me. Artist Jennifer Daily was inspired to create these two abstracts based on her experience with a community chorus.

“Singing in chorus with others, the synchronicity of voices, the subtle shift in tones, the comfort of harmony – all echoed in me as I painted these pieces,” she said. I couldn’t think of a better metaphor for our team, so these pieces became an easy choice to display in the studio. We chose the largest size (55 x 79) on canvas with coordinating black IKEA frames for contrast.

Another abstract by Jennifer Daily, I chose this print for its warmer, rust-toned hues. We ordered the 40 x 55 size on canvas and it hangs next to our conference table, where we also placed a colorful vintage rug. I love that this art is neutral enough to work nearly anywhere, but also delivers tons of visual inspiration with a modern sensibility.

Once we selected our modern abstracts, it was time to add a few landscapes. Oak Park is by artist Hannah Winters, and it’s an expressive, moody scene with a primarily deep olive color palette. Again, we chose a 40 x 55 oversized canvas with the black frame option recommended by Juniper Print Shop: the IKEA Bjorksta. It’s a really inexpensive way to frame large-scale art, and while it comes in limited color options, you can easily spray paint the frame by following this tutorial.

To round out our office artwork, I wanted something small but impactful with a vintage look and feel. Juniper Print Shop’s vintage collection had a wealth of options, but the Provence jumped out for its subdued character. Insider secret: this 11 x 14 canvas came ready to hang thanks to Juniper’s soon-to-be frame line, and if you keep an eye on their channels, you’ll be first to know about the official launch.
