Have you followed along with the Spring One Room Challenge? For those who are new to this process, designers and bloggers transform a space soup to nuts in six weeks while documenting their progress. All of the participants have been revealing their final rooms this week, and we are here.for.it.
We’ve culled a few of our favorite transformations, and almost all of them are kitchens and baths. What can we say? We’re suckers for a great before and after; especially one done within a rapid-fire timeline. Plus, anyone that can renovate a kitchen or bathroom in six weeks and manage to stay sane deserves a standing ovation. Hats off to you, friends!
Interior Design: House of Jade Interiors | Photography: Lindsay Salazar
We didn’t think it was possible to love a refrigerator this much; or a dishwasher for that matter. Actually, let’s throw everything from Big Chill into the love mix. House of Jade Interiors set out to craft a modern country kitchen with showstopping appliances that give a little French flair. Take the full tour.
Interior Design: Casework | Photography: Nicole Mason
Aptly named the Ranchalow, this bathroom crafted by Casework is the perfect blend of ranch and craftsman with a barely-there beige tile, geometric green floor tile and all done in 32 days. Take the full tour.
Interior Design: Murphey Deesign | Photography: Zeke Ruelas
A kitchen that pairs lucite with a dark green french stove is a great one in our book. Murphey Deesign was going for “a mix of a warm, family-friendly, European classic… with a few boho, modern twists.” Nailed it. Take the full tour.
Interior Design: Girl & Grey
The before of this shed will blow your mind. From no original floors, walls or ceiling to a mountain-esque cabin complete with fireplace, Girl & Grey transformed her backyard shed into a modern rustic office escape. Take the full tour.
Interior Design: Bre Purposed
Color blocking with tile…yes! This half-bath was totally overhauled into a modern minimalism oasis using full wall tile in green and white color blocks. It’s safe to say we’re obsessed. Take the full tour.
Interior Design: The House that Lars Built
The House that Lars Built took this lackluster oak kitchen and gave it a total overhaul. Knocking out walls, brightening things up with a white on white color scheme and black framed windows – this kitchen makeover is one for the books. Take the full tour.
Interior Design: Sincerely Marie Designs
This master bathroom might be the most dramatic transformation of the bunch. Where the before was dated and dark with peach tile to boot, Sincerely Marie Designs created the most elegant dream bathroom. Take the full tour.
Interior Design: Homemade by Carmona | Photography:
Is this not the chicest cloffice situation? Built in two days as an addition to her living room makeover, Homemade by Carmona took an unused closet and created a well-appointed office nook. Take the full tour.
