Our Favorites List for the Month of May

May 3

It’s probably no surprise that this month’s favorites list contains some wicker but just wait until you see HOW that wicker is being utilized. It will blow your mind. Also on the agenda this month, we’re traveling to Budapest and Paris complete with a killer playlist. We’re devouring every second of Game of Thrones and curating our warm weather capsule wardrobe all while going bananas over a few design projects. More on those beautiful spaces later. From wardrobe to wicker, have a peek at what we can’t get enough of this month.

for your home + lifestyle

Rattan Headboard – In terms of headboards, this rattan number from IKEA is crazy inexpensive yet so stylish. We think it would be amazing in a guest bedroom or a vacation home.

Hearth & Hand Bike – cuuutte bike alert. This is 100% on our Summer wishlist; perfect for cruising to the farmers market.

Calpe Olive Bowl – We all need a special dish in the loveliest shade of lavender for our olives, don’t you think?

for your wardrobe

French Market Bag – Beach, Market, Sunday Brunch… this bag works for all of the above. It comes in super fun colors too.

Oversized Jean Jacket – Just say yes to this oversized jean jacket from Madewell. Not only is it a great piece for transitioning seasons but the quality will make it an excellent addition to any capsule wardrobe for years to come.

Knotted Soft Leather Sandals – We are so ready to let our toes feel the open air. How about you? These knotted sandals will do the trick. Not to mention, they go with literally everything.

Ruffle Tiered Maxi Dress – A maxi dress is a wardrobe essential. They make you look put together yet are cozy enough to feel like you’re wearing pjs. This rendition is especially easy breezy and even comes with tassels.

Gauze Rainbow Stripe Shirt – Stripes will forever be a favorite, and this rendition from Madewell gets bonus points for its use of rainbow color.

Eyelet Blouse – Another eyelet infused reason to add to our ever-growing white shirt collection.

Keds Leather Shoes – These kicks have the nostalgia of Keds with a cool camel leather spin. Yes, please.

bookmarked and reading

Wicker Built-In Banquet from Amber Interiors – We almost had a design-induced heart attack when we spotted this wicker banquet on @amberinteriors Instagram feed. It’s SO GOOD.

The Intangible – While a stunning book cover never hurts, the inside of Kerry Joyce’s design book is equally as gorgeous and illustrates his mantra of creating well being and tranquility.

Where the Desert Meets the Sea – Fellow historical fiction lovers unite. This novel set in post-WWII Palestine is next on our reading list. IDCO book club anyone?
