After spending a week in Palm Spring and Phoenix, I have my heart set on what’s trending for Spring. Spring is the season of hope for me – filled with growth and warmth. For today’s Friday Five I’m focusing on all the things that are trending for spring, through my eyes. I’ve broken them down into two categories categories to help you find some Spring inspiration for your home + wardrobe.
You can see first part of our home tour here. Since Spring is here, I’m ready to make a few subtle swaps in the living room to welcome the new season. This color palette of warm melon colors is my guiding light as we head into warmer months.
Our living room currently has blonde woods that pull from the pretty cantaloupe color above, but I’m itching to bring in some of that deep coral. By swapping just three of our pillows, bringing in new blossoms, and making a subtle swap of the art, the room will totally transform.
It’s not a shock that white denim, basket bags, + wide brim hats (this one is my favorite + have had for it three years) will be on repeat now that spring is here. These are all my wardrobe stapes. So this season, I’m keeping it simple + sticking with what I love.
Add in gingham + a ruffle sleeve and I am set. Below, I’ve linked a few items I took to Palm Springs – all of which I was asked about dozens of times. I have an ever growing collection of hats. I think they’ve become a bit of my signature. This year, I’m saving up to splurge on a few from Janessa Leone. I’m loving this one, this one, and this one. All of which will be coming with me to Mallorca in May. Finally, in Spring I switch my signature scent over from something with gardenia to something with citrus. I’m excited to try this new scent from Replica. I’ll update you guys when it arrives next week!
